As an individual who is deeply ingrained in incident management and recovery, your actions not only mitigate issues but also drive initiatives that proactively safeguard against future incidents, ensuring robust, reliable, and resilient systems.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Azure management, identity (Entra ID), and governance.
  • Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Familiarity With IaC and container orchestration.
  • Observability with Dynatrace, Azure Insights & Workbooks
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform deep dives into Azure resource logs and metrics
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or similar.
  • Expertise in programming, scripting, and automation.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and system diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement strategic initiatives that enhance system reliability, security, and performance.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Lead efforts in identifying, analyzing, and resolving system issues proactively, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure coherent strategy implementation and system deployment.
  • Best Practices: Lead and promote SRE best practices and establish standards for system management across engineering teams.
  • LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
