About The Position

Delivery of resilient designs and stacks via "Infrastructure as Code" and other DevOps practices. Diagnosis and resolution of complex system and application issues. Establish Quality, Policy and Security checks during the integration and deployment of code. Work with the Core Pipeline team to contribute Modules and Incremental improvements to the Core Pipeline, Core Services and Core Operating team’s Libraries and Services. Collaborate with other SRE team members to ensuring development and operations work is delivered in full and on time (agile/product sprints). Write and maintain systems / application documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Monitor and provide on-going support of critical Information Security systems and applications. Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert, advising others in the team on best practice and to impart knowledge. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Also required is: 2 years of experience: using orchestration/configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation; working within the public cloud: Azure, AWS or GCP; using common source control and continuous integration tools, including Git, SVN, Gitlab, GitHub, and Jenkins; and coding and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • 1 year of experience: understanding defensive, corrective and detective controls and requirements; and with application security testing (source code review/static-dynamic testing/penetration tests).
  • Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
  • Experience can be concurrent.
