About the position

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Site Quality Manager. This position is an onsite role, and is located at our Euclid, OH facility. The Euclid facility has approximately 325 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of the Quality strategy both production and new programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Eaton, customer and industry-specific Quality requirements by conducting the necessary audits and assessments and determine system effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement a Quality organizational structure capable of supporting the strategic initiatives and lead the efforts to integrate quality into the development of short and long range business plans.
  • Develop strategies for integrating Quality concepts into the new product development process.
  • Analyze key quality-related operational metrics and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level for both on-going production and new product development.
  • Continually improve the capability of the Quality organization through ongoing development activities and identification of talent to promote functional bench strength.
  • Ensure deployment of Eaton’s quality functional excellence tool set and provide input to development plans for functional reports.
  • Strive to achieve world class CONC and DPPM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters in Business Administration or related Masters degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Systems, preferably AS9100.
  • Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical Device Manufacturing experience.
  • Machining experience.
  • EQS Assessor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certified.
  • (CQM / OE), ISO-9001 Auditor and Six Sigma Blackbelt.
  • Three (3) years' of experience in a role with direct customer interface.
