About The Position

The Site Quality Manager position is a full-time role based at the project site in Breese, IL, where the individual will serve as the overall on-site project lead responsible for quality control and quality assurance. This role requires a strong commitment to the company's values, including safety, quality, honesty, and integrity, while fostering trustworthy relationships with clients, employees, and construction partners. The Site Quality Manager will support various departments such as Project Management, Field Operations, Estimating, Business Development, and Accounting, ensuring that all aspects of the project meet the highest standards of quality and safety. In this position, the Site Quality Manager will assist in the daily management of field personnel, subcontractors, prime contractors, and suppliers. They will implement the safety and quality plan on the job site, which includes participating in toolbox talks, reporting incidents, conducting inspections, and engaging in other company initiatives. A key aspect of this role is mentoring junior field staff, including project engineers and foremen, to help them develop their careers. Daily communication with job site teams and participation in job briefings are essential to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed. The Site Quality Manager will be responsible for logging detailed and accurate field reports using Procore or other applicable software, partnering with the superintendent to ensure that project milestones and meetings are scheduled effectively. They will also coordinate with project management to facilitate pre-install meetings and ensure that all quality expectations are communicated to subcontractors before work begins. Quality control and assurance will be a significant focus, including conducting inspections, overseeing quality control specialists, and ensuring that all construction documents are reviewed and adhered to. Additionally, the Site Quality Manager will handle project change management, interact with owners and architects to meet client expectations, and oversee the quality of self-perform crews. They will also manage project close-out procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the satisfaction of the company and client. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of the project and ensuring that all quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
