POSITION OVERVIEW: The Site Mechanical Foreman reports to the Site Mechanical Superintendent and will be responsible for overseeing and working with the mechanical craft crew in their day-to-day responsibilities. This position serves as the front line for the site mechanical crew KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Site Manager and Aftermarket Leadership to recommend potential mechanical craft labor for hire Work with the Site Mechanical Superintendent to coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans for the site mechanical team and ensure that all correct permits are in place for all planned mechanical work Ensure all mechanical craft personnel have the proper documented training for any tasks to be performed Ensure that all mechanical crew timesheets are captured and up to date and turned into the Site Mechanical Superintendent daily. Regularly report project status to Site Mechanical Superintendent Assist in mentoring all mechanical staff and new hires Oversee and ensure that Mechanical Craft labor is following our site safety plan Assist Site Mechanical Superintendent in maintaining schedules for all mechanical activities Ensure that the most up to date drawings and construction documents are being used Work closely with Site QA/QC Leads to ensure QA system is followed by all craft labor Assist lessons learned process and communications to Site Manager Manage mechanical drawing red-line process for site corrections Resolve mechanical conflicts and miscommunications with all parties and disciplines All other duties as assigned by TAS JOB SKILLS Strong mechanical craft skills in welding and fitting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven problem solving skills at construction sites Knowledge of construction terminology and practices Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations EDUCATION & TRAINING High School diploma or equivalent Mechanical licenses and formal training are a plus MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of mechanical craft experience in mechanical construction and modular installation Proven track record of overseeing craft disciplines Ability to travel domestically on short notice High energy, driven individual that communicates and interacts well in a team environment Results oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position is at least ~50% at a desk working with computer and ~50% travel developing potential customer relationships and/or coordinating TAS project site teams and customer contractors. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading.
