About The Position

This role is for a Site Manufacturing – Quality Leader specializing in Quality, located in Manning, SC. The individual will be responsible for building strong, trust-based relationships with customers and delivering solutions that consistently reflect their needs and expectations. Key aspects of the role include coaching, mentoring, and growing team members to achieve career goals and strengthen organizational capability. The leader will also lead structured, measurable quality planning activities to ensure customer satisfaction and align with industry standards, apply systematic and data-driven problem-solving methods to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence, and create and manage effective resource plans (headcount and budget) for quality initiatives. Furthermore, the position involves championing Cummins Operating System principles to build a strong quality culture, driving continuous improvement, aligning processes with customer and business requirements, using advanced quality tools, maintaining robust quality systems, and leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and statistical methods to influence decisions, improve process performance, and drive modern, technology-enabled quality outcomes.
