Main Missions: To increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness by properly maintaining and improving equipment and maintenance processes in various areas of the facility
Requirements
- Ability to use multimeter for troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems up to 480VAC
- Working knowledge of PLCs and automated systems
- Basic PC skills
- Read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control prints and schematics and use them to troubleshoot circuits
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment efficiently and effectively
- Technical certification with specialty experience in any of the following: mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, etc
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace
- Keep a neat, clean, and organized work area
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and building systems
- Determine root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions
- Assist and train other internal and contracted maintenance technicians
- Assist contactors with repairs, revisions, construction, and new equipment setup
- Use internal system to record all work performed on a daily basis
