Requirements

  • Previous experience working with robotics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in electrical installation controls.
  • Interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience programming industrial robotic systems for automation applications.
  • Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electromechanical systems.
  • Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
  • Hands-on electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
  • Skilled in welding techniques with certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems used in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
  • Ability to rotate shifts depending on the needs of production

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Perform repairs including welding, electrical work, and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Programming robotic systems for automation purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Support facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting, HVAC repairs, and general building upkeep.
  • Supervise or assist in supervising junior technicians or contractors during complex repair projects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service internally.
  • Lead safety initiatives related to maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
