About The Position

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing site staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in janitorial/custodial.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and janitorial/custodial processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: o Supervise and manage daily site operations. o Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Health & Safety Compliance: o Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections. o Maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Resource Management: o Organize labor, materials, and equipment efficiently. o Monitor stock levels and arrange timely deliveries.
• Quality Control: o Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards. o Address and resolve any defects or issues promptly.
• Communication: o Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. o Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Problem-Solving: o Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. o Resolve on-site conflicts and technical challenges.
