About The Position

As a Site Manager, you will direct manufacturing operations through a team of employees to ensure efficient use of resources with manpower, materials, and equipment. Provides direction, development, and leadership to all facility employees either directly or indirectly through supervisors and lead personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the financial management of the P&L for the facility. Effectively lead the workforce, instilling motivation and communicating effectively to achieve maximum results. Reviews costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance the profitable operation of the facility. Ensures compliance with product quality standards and safety regulations. Acts as a local liaison with customer relationships, conferring with customers and representatives. The Site Manager must be skilled in root cause analysis and identify opportunities for improvement in the plant and in the office management. Suggest solutions and encourage a culture of problem-solving in the plant. Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, and disciplining subordinates. Implement and document an appropriate performance evaluation for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or adjust plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Coordinate activities through planning with department managers to ensure company objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Implement an appropriate performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations. Guides the development of the pallet repair and sortation process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, and facility need, and reviews production and operating reports. The Fargo site is a small one-shift operation. Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend. A total of 15 employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years' experience working as a Site Manager or other similar position
  • Significant experience in production management and reporting on key production metrics
  • Minimum of 5 years in a warehousing or production environment leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
