About The Position

Our Site Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the location to ensure goals and objectives are achieved and all work is performed safely. This position provides leadership to site employees including blasters, drivers, drillers, and blast crew. This position is a leadership role and must be able to manage and schedule a team accordingly. Must have strong communication skills and be very customer focused. Daily communication with the customer is a critical success factor for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of site management experience with industry experience preferred.
  • Position requires ability to pass a background check conducted by the ATF to possess and handle explosives.
  • Possess a strong understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles. Proficient in Microsoft 365 products with ability to gain proficiency in company software applications.
  • Effective, professional communicator.
  • Possess personal and professional sound judgement. Acts with integrity.
  • Ability to simultaneously oversee multiple projects in multiple locations.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining composure.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work daily.
  • Must be able to work year-round under various outside weather conditions on rough terrain.
  • Must be able to obtain a CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

  • While carrying out daily responsibilities safety and compliance must be the priority. Takes personal responsibility for safety and champions company-wide safety goal of zero incidents.
  • Must be able to provide leadership to employees, creating a positive, respectful environment while ensuring services exceed customer expectations.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of location employees.
  • Oversees product inventory, vehicle maintenance, equipment and equipment maintenance, and site location.
  • Oversees compliance with regulators including ATF, DOT, State Fire Marshal, MSHA and local authorities.
  • Regularly tracks expenses and monitors budgets to ensure efficiencies and control costs. Reports on key metrics.
  • Participates in and leads monthly site safety meetings and toolbox talks as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with sales representatives, account managers, blasters and blast crews to ensure customer satisfaction while remaining conscious of safety and compliance requirements.
  • Assure drill uptime and production demands are achieved, if applicable.
