About The Position

We are looking for a Site Manager to join our Performance Chemicals team in Savannah, GA. Come create chemistry with us! The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services. The Site Manager provides strategic leadership for all manufacturing operations at the Savannah, GA site, directing EH&S, Production, Maintenance, Technical functions, and capital projects to achieve long‑term business objectives. Providing overall leadership and accountability for site performance (90–110 employees), maintaining visible presence across all shifts, and fostering a culture of trust, empowerment, and accountability. Driving a safety‑first culture and operational risk management by leading environmental, safety, and process safety performance and ensuring strong governance of MOC, mechanical integrity, hazard analysis, incident learning, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. Setting and executing long‑term asset and reliability strategies using predictive technologies, reliability‑centered maintenance, and data‑driven failure analysis to ensure reliable, flexible production. Leading manufacturing and technology execution, ensuring seamless technology transfers, and aligning site capabilities with product, quality, and customer expectations. Overseeing product quality, stewardship, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe handling, secure site operations, and adherence to customer and product requirements. Planning and managing site resources and financial performance by analyzing operational data to develop budgets, staffing plans, inventory strategies, and capital plans, while optimizing costs without compromising safety or reliability. Identifying and mitigating operational, EHS, quality, regulatory, cost, and equipment risks, implementing controls, improvements, and contingency plans to ensure stable and reliable operations. Building and developing a high‑performance organization by leading the site leadership team, coaching direct reports across key functions, and driving capability development, engagement, succession planning, and continuous improvement culture. Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related), Chemistry, or a closely related technical field.
  • Possess 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, or other high‑hazard industrial environments.
  • Bring 7+ years of people‑leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams across operations, maintenance, engineering, EH&S, or technical functions.
  • Maintain experience working in regulated environments governed by OSHA Process Safety Management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute site‑level strategy across safety, operations, quality, maintenance, asset management, and capital planning.
  • Exhibit strong capability to lead through influence, manage change, and build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Command experience managing financial performance, including budgeting, resource allocation, and operational cost control.
  • Show excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
