About The Position

NAES is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction activities for a 120MW PV Solar project in Lebanon, KY. The Site Manager will act as the Owner's onsite representative, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of all construction activities. This role is responsible for coordinating contractors, monitoring schedule and progress, reviewing work for compliance with design and contract requirements, and maintaining strong communication with the Owner, EPC, and other stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, field management experience, and the ability to drive accountability across the project team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success as an Owner's Representative or EPC Site Manager on major energy, solar, oil/gas, or industrial projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the Owner professionally in all field interactions.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, pricing, and BOP/major equipment installations.
  • Deep understanding of construction safety practices, OSHA compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Proficient with MS Office and capable of maintaining accurate project tracking, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ability to drive accountability, monitor schedule and deliverables, and ensure on-time, on-budget performance.
  • Ability to prepare weekly status updates summarizing safety, daily reports, schedule progress, s-curves, quality, and risk items.
  • 5+ years of site management experience in power, industrial, energy, or heavy construction projects.
  • Experience managing construction and commissioning activities on projects of comparable scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Owner's onsite representative, ensuring daily construction activities align with project requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead daily POD meetings and participate in weekly/monthly status meetings with the Owner, EPC, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and document site progress through daily logs, walk-downs, progress reporting, and quality/safety observations.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, adherence to work plans, and resolution of field issues.
  • Review and approve contractor work method statements, quality inspections, and installation activities for correctness and compliance.
  • Identify and escalate risks, schedule delays, technical issues, or non-conformances, and support development of mitigation strategies.
  • Support claims management, variation tracking, and subcontracting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with project leadership and all site stakeholders.
