About The Position

This role involves managing renewable generation projects from the pre-bid and buyout phases through construction and final acceptance. Following final acceptance, the Site Manager will oversee the operation of the renewable generation asset. Key responsibilities include overseeing the planning, design, licensing, construction, and start-up of new renewable energy power projects. The manager will also lead or support various phases of new renewable energy development projects, such as contract negotiations, reviewing emerging technologies, and addressing environmental, land, and quality assurance issues. Ensuring compliance with power purchase agreements and large generator interconnect agreements is also a critical part of the role. BHE Renewables is dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions to customers and communities, operating and developing wind, solar, geothermal, hydroelectric, and natural gas projects across 11 U.S. states. The power generated is sold into energy markets or directly to customers via long-term purchase agreements. Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, with new offices in Phoenix and San Diego, BHE Renewables is an innovative and expanding company. They have a 50/50 joint venture with Occidental Petroleum, which has led to a demonstration project utilizing TerraLithium technology to extract lithium from brine at their geothermal plants in Imperial Valley, CA. Responsibilities

  • Manage renewable generation projects from pre-bid and buyout through construction and final acceptance.
