About The Position

This Site Manager III position exists to oversee, and be actively involved, in the day-to-day operations of the assigned outpatient facility (with 3 or more employees) that offer procedures including but not limited to Stereotactic imaging and biopsy. Responsibilities include monitoring and proactively addressing employee, patient, and physician matters and concerns; physician and technologist protocols; patient procedures; quality control; and regulatory issues. The role is responsible for ordering supplies, timekeeping for permanent staff onsite, performing evaluations of permanent staff, creating a positive working relationship with referring offices, conflict resolution, and the promotion of excellent customer service. The Site Manager will also cover clinical technologist duties when not performing administrative leadership functions.

Requirements

  • Junior College/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or office management.
  • ARRT/CPR certification.
  • 3-5 years of Mammography and healthcare management experience with direct staff supervision of 5+ employees.
  • Proficiency in Diagnostic imaging and Stereotactic biopsy and imaging.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical reports and present information concisely.
  • Knowledge of radiographic technique and positioning.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound positioning and anatomy (if stationed at a diagnostic site).
  • Self-motivator, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multiple computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical duties as a mammography technologist including gathering previous images, paperwork, and questionnaires provided by the patient.
  • Responsible for obtaining and evaluating images on patients before sending them to the radiologist on duty.
  • Tracking patient files in and out of the office and assisting in the location and retrieval of prior outside studies.
  • Proficient in Diagnostic and Stereotactic Imaging and Biopsy.
  • Perform employee-focused management functions related to interviewing/hiring, onboarding/orientation/training, coaching/development, staffing/scheduling, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Performance evaluation for all site staff including front desk.
  • Monitor clinical operational performance including volumes, scheduling, quality, patient engagement, etc.
  • Work with direct reports, clinical staff, radiologists, and administration to enhance day-to-day operations of outpatient sites.
  • Oversee the scheduling of fixed site technologists and Patient Representatives.
  • Manage timekeeping for direct reports, including inputting missed punches and tracking PTO.
  • Provide oversight of orientation of new Mamm Tech hires to the site.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to disseminate important information and encourage discussion.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and ensure necessary office supplies and equipment are available.
