About The Position

Avery Dennison is seeking a dynamic and strategic Site Leader to oversee our Distribution and Finishing Center in Neenah, WI. In this critical leadership role, you will have overall responsibility for site operational performance across financial, quality, service, safety, and inventory functions. You will act as a visionary leader, driving a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the seamless execution of shipping, receiving, and material finishing processes. Role & Responsibilities As the Site Leader, you will translate market trends and customer needs into actionable goals that create a competitive advantage. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering an environment where safety is the top priority and excellence is the standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of successful multi-functional Operations experience, including significant time spent in management and employee development roles.
  • Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies (e.g., ELS, Lean Sigma).
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial systems, key manufacturing drivers, and general business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing, diverse teams and lead strategic planning efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Site Strategy & Management: Develop and implement annual and long-term business plans, including capital budgeting and operational expense management. You will lead multi-functional project initiatives and utilize benchmarking to support divisional goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive results in quality, productivity, and cost reduction by integrating modern manufacturing and improvement strategies like ELS (Avery Dennison's Enterprise Lean System). You will ensure adherence to ISO 9000 procedures and manage site-wide inventory functions.
  • Employee Development & Leadership: Act as a change agent to lead and influence team members. You are responsible for the full talent lifecycle, from attracting and retaining high-potential talent to providing regular feedback via our Global Performance Management System.
  • Safety & Compliance: Lead the safe operation of the facility, ensuring total compliance with legal, legislative, and corporate safety requirements while promoting safety as a fundamental value.
