The Site Lead for the Jefferson County Employment and Training Program (JET) at Bayaud Enterprises plays a crucial role in facilitating work experiences for individuals facing barriers to employment, particularly those experiencing homelessness. This position is located in Lakewood, Colorado, and operates under the Center for Opportunity Rehabilitation and Employment. The Site Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations at various job sites, ensuring that participants are engaged in meaningful work while receiving the necessary support and training to succeed. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some weekends and evenings required. The JET program focuses on providing paid day work experiences that include routine seasonal labor and maintenance tasks in Jefferson County parks and other public spaces. The Site Lead will manage a small crew of up to six participants, guiding them through tasks such as weeding, trash removal, graffiti cleaning, and general maintenance. This role requires building rapport with participants, understanding their unique challenges, and providing mentorship and rehabilitation support. The Site Lead will also coordinate with Jefferson County staff to identify work locations and outreach opportunities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. In addition to overseeing work activities, the Site Lead is responsible for the logistics of the job sites, including transportation, food, and equipment management. This includes driving the company vehicle, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and assisting with daily payouts to participants. The position operates under the general supervision of the Site Coordinator and collaborates closely with other team members, including Clinical Employment Specialists and Case Managers, to ensure a supportive and effective work environment.
