Anaergia is managing the operations and maintenance of the Sterling Natural Resource Recovery Center (SNRC) anaerobically digestible material (ADM) receiving area. The SNRC ADM receiving area receives high strength organic waste in 5,000-gallon tankers and is offloaded to buffer tanks using an onsite pumping system. The waste at the receiving area is co-digested with the municipal sludge-producing biogas. The Biogas is treated and upgraded to renewable natural gas (RNG) and injected into the utility pipeline. The biogas treatment and upgrading facility is owned and operated by Anaergia and the facility is located on the SNRC property. This role reports to the Director of Plant Operations. The Site Lead Operator will be based out of the Sterling Natural Resource Recovery Center located in San Bernardino, CA and will be required to travel as needed to support projects in Anaergia's Western region. The Site Lead Operator has responsibility to service equipment at sites utilizing Anaergia The Site Lead Operator under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations has responsibility for establishing and maintaining world-class customer service, safety, and environmental standards for the customers and Anaergia while driving a strong culture of operational and maintenance. The Site Lead Operator has the responsibility to support the Director of Plant Operations to meet financial, strategic, operational, and performance goals for Anaergia and provide exceptional service attending to customers. The Site Lead Operator will review, develop, and implement procedures that improve customer service, operations, and maintenance of equipment efficiencies, and increase revenues by using “Best Practices” while maintaining a high safety standard and compliance with all regulatory and safety procedures. The Site Lead Operator will be responsible to develop and deploy efficient maintenance and production practices by utilizing operational excellence, quality improvement, best practice implementation, enhanced equipment reliability, repair and maintenance practices, business process consulting, and supply chain development to meet production goals.
