About The Position

The Site IT Superuser at Ryder System is responsible for managing and troubleshooting the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) applications. This role involves supporting local hardware and network issues, managing incident tickets, and ensuring effective communication between the Technology Account Leads and the Operations Team. The position also focuses on continuous improvement initiatives and the management of IT assets within the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in Information Technology or Supply Chain.
  • One year or more of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, or Transportation industry required.
  • One year or more of knowledge, support, and/or deployment experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
  • Experience with hardware and/or network knowledge and support preferred.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for WMS configuration such as Allocation, Putaway, and Replenishment rules preferred.
  • SQL knowledge to write and execute queries, and validate results for accuracy preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS or Blue Yonder/JDA TMS preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic WMS configuration preferred.
  • Report development and ZPL label generation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of Service Now incident tickets, including opening and escalating tickets as necessary.
  • Document recurring issues and work with Technology Account Leads to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
  • Propose long-term improvements through Customer Enhancements, Service Requests, or Continuous Customer Improvement initiatives.
  • Manage hardware and IT assets, including maintaining an IT Asset List and overseeing the RMA process.
  • Handle day-to-day account items such as Compare Reports, Error Managers, and WMS/TMS access.
  • Provide support for Customer Enhancements, including testing support, end-user training, and documentation of Standard Work.
  • Attend meetings with internal and external customers to support Technology Account Leads and Operations.
