About The Position

Position Description : Site Inventory Coordinator Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to: General warehouse work Under the guidance of supervision, supports inventory management in the receipt, disbursement, labeling, placement, and distribution of materials to supply or staging areas throughout the Rahway site. Utilizes and demonstrates proficiency with computer database systems that support and facilitate the entire procurement and inventory management program as well as any other supporting computer systems. Performs data entry and queries, maintenance, and reconciliation of inventory levels. Samples various production materials and chemicals for quality evaluation and handling associated paperwork. Performs shipping material identification or status control labels and prepares documents according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) instructions, regulations, or established procedures. Loads and unloads trailers, ensures storage and delivery of materials, waste and equipment usage. Maintain all safety equipment and perform documented periodic safety and GMP inspections. Responsible for appropriate notification of safety, environmental, and regulatory non-compliance. Employee will receive specific EHS training prior to handling EHS materials. Performs all general area housekeeping.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Proficiency in computer systems and applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, twist, climb steps, and don & wear personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate both independently and as a part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse experience
  • Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Environment
  • Forklift Operator Certified with 3+ years forklift experience operating various lifts including sit down, stand up, narrow aisle and powered pallet jacks.
