About The Position
The Site HR Head at Cipla InvaGen is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the HR function across Cipla's North America operation sites. This position requires a strategic leader who will manage various employee lifecycle events and HR processes in collaboration with business units, regional and corporate HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs). The HR Head will play a crucial role in supporting the business and functional teams to achieve organizational objectives and deliver effective HR services. In this role, the HR Head will support the business in achieving strategic objectives as outlined in the business goal sheet. This includes collaborating with senior leaders to ensure that HR processes align with business goals. The HR Head will lead and coach a team of experienced HRBPs, who will proactively partner to enhance HR provisions for their assigned client groups. The position also involves evaluating the company structure and design to meet business goals through workforce planning and talent management strategies. The HR Head will facilitate the Talent Acquisition strategy and execution at the site level, managing the recruitment process for open roles, including oversight of Senior Manager and below level recruitments. This includes managing local recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with pre-employment checks and other hiring requirements. Performance management is another critical aspect of this role, where the HR Head will manage the performance management system for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and participation in the calibration process. Additionally, the HR Head will support talent and capability development initiatives, manage employee lifecycle activities, and act as the first line of HR leadership for employee queries. The role also encompasses responsibilities for compensation, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and providing guidance on complex employee relations issues. Overall, the Site HR Head will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and driving HR initiatives that align with Cipla's mission of 'Caring for Life'.
