About The Position
The Batesville Composites Operation has been on an exciting transformation journey! The Site FLIGHT DECK Leader will play an integral role in developing and activating the FLIGHT DECK strategy across the factory alongside the leadership staff and plant leader. This role will partner with a cross-matrix organization at all levels of the facility and value stream to drive flow, process improvements, reduce lead time, maximize cash flow, and coach our site's problem-solving maturity. They will also lead a team of FLIGHT DECK Specialists to support kaizen opportunities. We are seeking a candidate that has great leadership and influencing skills, with a commitment to a Continuous Improvement culture. This role will require many skills, such as project management, influencing, & creativity, while still maintaining GE corporate standards. Flight Deck is GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model that aims to improve efficiency and deliver value to customers.
