About The Position

The Site Finance Manager role at DHL Supply Chain involves providing financial and operational insight to enhance performance and process efficiency in a distribution center environment. The position requires analytical support for all Accounting and Finance activities, including month-end close, payroll, receivables, and payables, as well as operational activities such as warehouse productivity and labor efficiency. The role includes direct contact with customers, leading discussions on billing, strategy, and budgets, and supporting sites with multiple locations and/or customers. The Site Finance Manager will also work closely with Finance and HR departments, provide ad-hoc analytical support, and prepare various financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance field or 4 years equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Logistics industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
  • Advanced accounting knowledge: P&L and balance sheet.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced financial skillset; budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Ability to influence business decisions with peers.
  • Effective project and time management.
  • Advanced PC skill proficiency in MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support for all Accounting and Finance activities.
  • Conduct customer meetings as a representative of DHL Supply Chain.
  • Lead discussions on billing, strategy, and budgets with customers.
  • Support sites with multiple locations and/or customers.
  • Audit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals.
  • Execute daily customer/vendor contract requirements.
  • Interact with General Managers, Managers, and Supervisors to provide analytical support.
  • Prepare month-end close accrual and reclass journal entries.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
  • Prepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysis.
