About The Position

The Site Experience / Product Manager at Staples, Inc. is responsible for leading the strategy, analytics, and enhancements for the Quill website. This role focuses on improving customer journeys, rewards, promotions, and the overall non-transactional experience to drive online conversion and customer engagement. The manager will develop innovative solutions to enhance the eCommerce experience, utilizing data-driven insights to prioritize improvements and foster collaboration across various teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 or more years of experience in eCommerce / Product Management or Online Merchandising.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and BI skills.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce best practices and trends.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, analytics, and testing/enhancements pipeline for the website customer journey, rewards/promotions/membership, or non-transactional experience.
  • Use customer data and industry trends to establish a pipeline for driving improvements to the online customer experience and manage execution with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of site responsibility to drive company initiatives and respond to challenges and opportunities.
  • Encourage associates to lead online solutions for Quill, utilizing forward-thinking technologies.
  • Develop and implement processes, strategies, and reporting to improve eCommerce performance measures.
  • Generate business insights and innovate through eCommerce analytics.
  • Create testing strategies to validate improvements in the eCommerce shopping experience.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with peers at Quill and other Staples business units to share learning and leverage best practices.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, eCommerce, and IT teams to communicate requirements for revenue growth improvements.
  • Utilize feedback to prioritize the improvement pipeline.
  • Communicate eCommerce analytics and reporting results across business units.
  • Partner with UX for usability testing planning and execution, evaluate results, and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with QA to create and execute the project Test Strategy, owning User Acceptance Testing and providing business approval for launch.
