Site Equipment Operator II
About The Position
Essential Job Functions: Operate various equipment such as: Mini Excavator Skid Steer Scraper Tractor and Pan(s) GPS experience is a plus Ensure all work is completed according to required standards and plans Load and offload rocks, debris and other materials from heavy equipment Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials Willing to work on the ground and perform manual labor to complete tasks as needed Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues immediately Maintain a high level of quality work at all times Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times Aid coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks Perform other duties as assigned Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner
Requirements
- Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
- Knowledge of OSHA Standards
- Requires personal transportation to job sites.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
- Work weekends and overtime as needed
- Committed to attending work each day
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- GPS experience is a plus
- Ability to obtain Arsenal and FBI Badge preferred, but not required
