POSITION OVERVIEW: The Site Electrical Superintendent reports to the Construction Superintendent/Site Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all the electrical construction work for TAS module installation. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Site Manager and Aftermarket Leadership to identify and hire contract electrical employees as needed including welders, fitters, millwrights, forklift and crane operators as well as general electrical helpers Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans for the site electrical team Regularly report project status to Site Manager Implement and manage cost control strategies Provide accurate forecasting for all electrical team activities Oversee and mentor all electrical staff Work with EHS lead to ensure best safety practices and company policies are being implemented and followed by all electrical personnel Assist Site Manager in maintaining budget and schedule for all electrical activities Ensure that the most up to date drawings and construction documents are being used Work closely with Site QA/QC Leads to maintain appropriate records Assist lessons learned process and communications to Site Manager Manage electrical drawing red-line process for site corrections Resolve electrical conflicts and miscommunications with all parties and disciplines Ensure all electrical foreman and craft employees are entering their time daily and submitting to the site office manager Recommend and approve all electrical equipment and parts purchases and work with Site Manager and Site Office Manager to ensure timely supplies to the site All other duties assigned by TAS JOB SKILLS Strong knowledge of electrical permitting requirements Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Strong familiarity with PLC controls and complex electrical systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of construction personnel and management Proven problem-solving skills Basic skills with MS Office suite and construction management software Knowledge of construction terminology and practices Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations EDUCATION & TRAINING High School diploma plus extensive construction office management experience Electrical licenses and formal training are a plus Master Electrician license preferred MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 10 years of experience in electrical construction and modular installation Proven track record of collaborating with various construction disciplines Ability to travel domestically on short notice High energy, driven individual that communicates and interacts well in a team environment Results oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position is at least ~50% at a desk working with computers and ~50% travel developing potential customer relationships and/or coordinating TAS project site teams and customer contractors. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading.
