About The Position

Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced EHS Site Supervisor to support operations for a client in West Texas. This role is responsible for leading site-level environmental, health, and safety programs while fostering a strong, proactive safety culture. This position is ideal for a hands-on EHS professional who enjoys being in the field, working closely with operations teams, and driving real improvements in safety performance. Schedule Monday through Friday On-call availability required Significant field presence required Position Overview The EHS Site Supervisor will oversee all safety and environmental activities at the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. This role will directly supervise two EHS Coordinators and work closely with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement. A strong field presence is essential, with the majority of time spent engaging directly with employees and operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of EHS experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments
  • Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations
  • Experience with state environmental regulations (TCEQ preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team supervision experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enforce site-wide EHS programs and policies
  • Supervise and develop EHS Coordinators
  • Maintain consistent field presence to monitor and improve safety practices
  • Ensure compliance with MSHA and state environmental regulations (TCEQ)
  • Conduct safety training, audits, and incident investigations
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation
  • Promote a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into daily activities
  • Maintain accurate records of training, compliance, and incidents
