EHS Manager Performs as a Subject Matter Expert in support of designated facility-directed Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) efforts. This individual would lead the EHS operations, compliance, and trainings to prevent occupational injuries, illnesses, or related emergencies due to exposure to hazardous materials or working conditions. About the Job Responsible for all topics related to occupational safety and environmental protection. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT) Coordinate emergency response planning and training on all EHS related activities and operations including: Fire & HAZMAT Safety, CPR, & First Aid. Conducts site Safety audits and weekly Gemba walks Assist in maintaining Environmental management: ISO 140001 site certification and routine audits. Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and incident investigations. Lead site safety committees and facilitate employee engagement in EHS initiatives. Monitor and report EHS performance metrics; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. Manage environmental permits, waste disposal, air emissions, and water discharges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, HR, and corporate EHS. Prepares weekly and monthly reports on Corporate EHS systems. Develop, implement and maintain all new and existing site EHS programs, policies and procedures. Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury cases in order to recommend changes that lead to a safer environment. Provide training to employees, contractors and visitors.
