About The Position

The Site Director is a full-time position that consists of managing the Powerhouse program including managing ProCare accounts, teacher engagement, spiritual and professional growth, parent communication, addressing students’ needs and behaviors, designing schedules and activities for theday.  This is a Monday-Friday position, up to 40 hours per week. Reports directly to the Program Director.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility asspecified in 744.1021 Minimum Standards.
  • Required 70 clock hours of training in child/youth development, recreational leadership, or management orChild DevelopmentAssociated(CDA)/ highereducation degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,supervisoryand leadership skills.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain andmaintainrequired clock hoursfor sitedirectorsrequired by the state of Texasand TRS.
  • CPR& First Aidcertified.
  • Must be able tolift upto 40 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods of time standing on your feetmonitoringprogram.
  • Must be able to remain calm in highly stressful situations.
  • Commitment to continual growth in personal spiritual life and relationship with Christ
  • Attend Tuesday Staff Prayer Meetings, All Staff Meetings, Serve Day, SummerBashand events that promote Powerhouse.
  • Support the vision, values and ministry of Powerhouse and Oaks Church through tithing, serving, etc.
  • Proactive thinking and willing to learn and trainothers
  • Model a Godly life forstaff and families
  • Be teachable with a humble and submissiveattitude
  • Maintain all information confidential (about staff,families,projects,campuses, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all designated program areas, activities, and materialsfollowTexas State Minimum Standards for Licensing, Texas Rising Starand Powerhouse Guidelines daily.
  • Provide communicationthatis clear and consistent with Program Director, state licensing representative,staff, sickness, state visits, changes,events,etc.
  • Completes allpersonal and stafftraining/CEU’s as necessary, including CPR and First Aid.
  • Consistently provides a safe environment for staff and students by assessing risk and resolvingallknown issues.
  • Attendsalltrainings,meetings,andspecial eventsrequired by Central Office, Oaks Church, Texas Rising Star,the school you serve,andother State compliance agencies.
  • Implementandcarryoutall annual emergency drills and procedures asrequired.
  • Maintain and keep all state documents, state binders,postings,staffand student files up to date according to State Minimum Standards.
  • Consistently provides a safe environment for staff and students by assessing risk and resolvingallknown issuesimmediately.
  • Ensures all CCA policies are being met, including the reporting of absences, non-payments, and emergency closures, as well asmaintainingall necessary paperwork from the state.
  • Implements the visionand Core Values of Oaks Church andPowerhouseCentral Office.
  • Model and promote positive culture, guidelines, interactions with students and parents to staff.
  • Teach anddemonstraterespect for the campus,classrooms,and teachers’ personal items.
  • Creates,distributes,and ensures stafffollowcurriculumguidelinesin the classroom.
  • Build andmaintainprofessional and friendly relationships with the administration at your campus.
  • Works closely with campus administration, staff, and facilities team to keepcalendarsand events cohesive for all participants.
  • Maintain our state food program through compliance with training and recording requirements.
  • Purchase food, supplies, and necessary equipment forthe programtomaintaina highquality of care.
  • Aid teachers in classroom management, staying on schedule, and parent communication during program.
  • Willing and able to fill in forteacherif they are absent or unable to provide care.
  • Attends all program + school events such as campus orientation, literacy nights, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office, storage closet, andclassrooms that we use.
  • Timely and professionalat all times.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate whenappropriate.
  • Manages ProCare, Asana, ADP payroll, and Microsoft Suite per campus.
  • Reports all needs,concernsand state visitsto the Program Director.
  • Follow the budget guidelines and record receipts in our system on time.
  • Tracks campus inventory and purchases items as needed.
  • Prepare and oversee the program each day from opening to closing.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trainsnew staff.
  • Provides constructive andtimelyperformance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employeesin accordance withcompany policy.
  • Plans and executes daily staff meetings that are productive and enriching for thestaff,this will include monthlytraining courses.
