About The Position

Seasonal position - Site Director for AlphaBEST Education Start date: ASAP End Date: June 1, 2026 (able to extend possibly) M-F 6:30 am-8:30 am and/or 2:30 pm-6:00 pm (Prefer both shifts, but not mandatory) Ready to lead with purpose? AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Site Director , you'll lead a meaningful before a nd/or after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
  • One of the following: Possess a current professional teaching license issued by the Colorado Department of Education with an endorsement in the area of Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Early Childhood Special Education Specialist; or,
  • Possess a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher in Version 3.0 as determined by the Department; or,
  • Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in a Center-Based, Preschool; Center-Based, Infant-Toddler; or Family Child Care; or other Department-approved credential; or,
  • Two (2) years and nine (9) months (5,005 hours) of satisfactory experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children less than eight (8) years of age who are not related to the individual, and at least two (2) three (3)-semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, and one (1) of the courses must be either.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ens uring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
