Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Silvis Function: Communications (CA) Title: Site Coordinator - 117775 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As the Site Coordinator for John Deere Research & Development Center – Silvis located in Silvis, Illinois you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to the productivity, engagement, and operational readiness of the workforce and facility. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Develop, coordinate, and deliver communication materials (digital signage, newsletters, Viva Engage, etc.) Maintain the facility JDO page, meeting & event planning portal, and related communication methods (X20 platform, Viva Engage, etc.) Lead employee experience & recognition committee without direct authority and support the On The Spot recognition program Plan, coordinate, execute special events for employees and visitors Operate as site liaison for catering and food service needs for events and meetings. Manage facility meeting room assets through collaboration with IT Provide logistical and communication support for leadership engagements at the facility Manage office supply inventory VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of working independently and managing own worklist
  • 2 or more years working cross functionally
  • Clear verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Basic data entry and budget tracking
  • Ability to create clear messaging with complex and abstract information

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative or office management experience
  • Proficiency in communications creation (digital, newsletters), including Brand & John Deere writing style knowledge
  • Knowledge of event planning, coordination, and vendor or catering management
  • DeskBee administrative experience
  • High proficiency in creating strong relationships with leadership & all on-site staff (including vendors)
