About The Position

Savannah State University seeks qualified applicants for Upward Bound Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator tutors and monitors program participants in an afterschool setting at local high schools. Provides students with one-on-one and/or group tutoring to enhance and/or correct weak skills related to particular subject or course areas. May be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.

Requirements

• Relevant academic background that reflects a commitment to academic excellence ( GPA of 3.0 or above).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have completed college sophomore year.

Nice To Haves

• Preference is given to candidates who are from low-income and first-generation college student backgrounds.
