Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Site Coordinator Support Clerks to join our team at Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. As a Site Coordinator Support Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Coordinator with check-in tasks and uniform room attendant duties. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
  • Ability to follow directions and work quickly under pressure
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift
  • Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying

Nice To Haves

  • previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sorting, washing, drying, steaming, pressing, and folding and/or hanging clothing and other textile items
  • Tracking which items belong to which department
  • Issuing uniforms on game day and tracking inventory utilizing a barcode scanner to accurately account for distributed and received garments
  • Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits
  • Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
  • Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
  • Anticipating and responding to staff queries, concerns, and complaints
