About The Position

Monroe Group is looking for a Site Compliance Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing compliance processing and oversight to an affordable PBS8 community. The ideal candidate is driven by policies and deadlines, possesses a positive personality for interacting with applicants, residents, and co-workers, and is a strong problem-solver. Strong experience in Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) and LIHTC programs is essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and produce accurate work consistently while maintaining a professional demeanor. The candidate should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Property Management-related software, and have a passion for customer service. The Site Compliance Specialist works closely with the corporate compliance and property management team to ensure the property complies with all Federal, State, and County rules and regulations. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of Project-Based Section 8 experience
  • 3 years of LIHTC experience
  • Working Knowledge of Onsite or Yardi Software
  • English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
  • The ability to pass a full background check
  • Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
  • Experience with resident-occupied project renovations
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle required

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree is preferred
  • COS, HCCP, CPO, SCHM, TCS certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete lease packets, calculate rent, and prepare all documents in accordance with Monroe policy and procedures under the direction of the Community Manager
  • Maintain resident and property files and waiting lists
  • Maintain accurate reporting as required per various agency and program requirements
  • Audit and prepare the property for LIHTC, MOR, and other reviews
  • Ensure compliance with EIV requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
