We are currently in search of a Clinical Site Supervisor for our Springboro location. This candidate is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (This is a working supervisory position). Family Health Center, like all Providence primary care practices, is a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home, and focuses on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of medical practice and care to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and the EMR system.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development to train staff.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in identifying problems, and researching and recommending solutions.
  • Knowledge of Basic Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Skill in preparing and maintaining records, running reports, and responding to correspondence.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities.
  • Graduation from an accredited program for medical assistants.
  • Two years of medical assisting experience including two years of supervisory level experience.
  • Knowledge of AthenaOne EMR.
  • Possession of a valid state license, Certification from CCMA, NHA, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the general and technical supervision over clinical personnel in accordance with practice, governmental and other regulatory standards.
  • Suggests clinical goals and objectives.
  • Participates in clinical care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patient's health and wellness.
  • Evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints.
  • Gives guidance and counsel to clinical staff.
  • Ensures that office space, supplies, and equipment are provided and maintained appropriately for clinical staff and patient care.
  • Coordinates clinical services with other practice personnel.
  • Attends required meetings and participates in committees, as requested.
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations. Attends conferences and workshops.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements: to include but not limited to complete OSHA Compliance and training and Lab CLIA Compliance.
  • Performs related work as required.
  • Performs employee evaluations and makes recommendations with regard to pay increases, promotion and disciplinary actions.
