  • Responsible for completing and overseeing conceptual/planning level tasks (reviewing historical records, as-builts, utility plates, geotechnical information) to highlight design constraints and develop unique solutions to present to Clients and Permitting Agencies.
  • Responsible for preparing complete construction packages (plans, specifications and estimates) for the engineering, procurement and construction of site civil / land development design, green infrastructure design, sewer/sanitary/stormwater infrastructure.
  • Responsible for developing complete Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) in accordance with the rules and regulations of NYCDEP and NYSDEC.
  • Prepare, review, and/or interpret technical reports, specifications and analyses for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with government agency personnel and the public.
  • Communicate with clients, establish goals and objectives for project teams, and schedule and coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.
  • Experience preparing SWPPPs
  • Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, and/or a related field
  • Familiarity with New York City, New York State, and federal environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of NY/NYC stormwater management rules and regulations NYCDEP, NYSDEC or the local regulatory standards.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, and the ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Ability to support a wide variety of tasks and to work as part of a project team
  • Expertise in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of GIS, SWMM, StormCAD or equivalent modeling software
  • Certifications/Licenses: EIT / FE required
  • Professional Engineer's License in the State of New York (not required, but a plus)
