About The Position

Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Energy Services Team. This position is responsible for supporting civil site projects, typically including grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client's permitting and construction efforts. Priority will be given to candidates who are interested in civil site projects. The Site Civil Engineer will be a staff engineer working with the technical team and under the supervision of a professional engineer to deliver well-executed projects to our clients. You will assist with plan production, perform and review design calculations, drive quality assurance, and support the internal and external project team on a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects. Work will vary from project to project, so our engineers are exposed to a number of different practices which allow them to not only become well rounded, but also to find a specialty they have interest in. This Team is expanding with additional expansion expected over the next few years. This allows for lots of potential for upward mobility once experience has been gained.

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation
  • Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple teams and disciplines
