Division/Site Specific Information Position will be based in St. Louis, MO, and will support our Drug Substance Division. The Thermo Fisher Scientific St. Louis site is a multi-product and multi-client biopharmaceutical facility supporting clinical and commercial manufacturing. Discover Impactful Work: The Site BIM/Drawing Management Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of all building information modeling (BIM) assets and engineering drawing documentation for the site. This individual will lead the implementation and governance of BIM standards and drawing management processes, supporting cross-functional teams to enable efficient execution of capital projects, facility operations, and compliance. Discover Impactful Work: Own and maintain the site’s master drawing archive and digital BIM ecosystem, ensuring version control, quality, and compliance. Develop and implement drawing and BIM standards, workflows, and documentation control processes aligned with Thermo Fisher Scientific global standards. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to site engineering drawings, models, and documentation. Collaborate with engineering, facilities, automation, and capital project teams to capture and update as-built conditions following project completions or facility changes. Lead the site transition from legacy CAD to integrated BIM systems and support the integration with asset management, CMMS, and other site systems. Manage drawing review, approval, and distribution processes and oversee controlled document repositories. Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews of drawing records and BIM data across disciplines (MEP, architectural, civil, process). Support onboarding and training of staff and contractors on drawing standards, software use (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks), and documentation protocols. Coordinate external consultants and vendors for drawing creation, updates, or scanning as needed. Report drawing/document status and metrics to site leadership and support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation. Champion safe practices in digital modeling and field documentation alignment to reduce construction and operational risks.
