About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer Science Engineering, or a related robotics/automation field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in robotic programming and simulation (FANUC preferred) or 3-5 years as a robotic cell integration engineer.
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and resourcefulness in solving applied problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP communication protocols, electrical drawings, debugging electrical wiring, and pneumatic systems.
  • Professional-level English proficiency.
  • Experience in machine vision, C# programming, and HMI development for manufacturing equipment.
  • PLC programming using ladder logic.
  • Knowledge of Keyence, Halcon, and other vision products.
  • Expertise in FANUC products like CRX collaborative robots, IR Vision, and Force Sensors.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the site in the PF Name global automation group, collaborating with process experts, research centers, and R&D labs.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement innovative solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Define and execute the site-level automation strategy, ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) excellence.
  • Lead investment projects, develop standard processes, and support technology transfers across sites.
  • Build a technical talent pipeline by mentoring and training team members in automation technologies.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods like Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA).
