The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is looking to hire a Site Assistant Superintendent 1 at Moraine Hills State Park for The Office of Land Management. This position will coordinate and participate in mowing activities, report spending and project costs to the Site Superintendent, operate hunter check stations, record and report hunter harvests, collect hunter permit fees, explain site regulations to visitors, supervise staff in the operation of all hunter check stations, provide guidance and training to assigned staff, and perform CPR and First Aid. From hiking & biking to fishing & birding, Moraine Hills State Park is a recreational paradise in northeast Illinois. Located three miles south of the city of McHenry in McHenry County, about half of the state park's 2,200 acres is composed of wetlands and lakes. The diverse habitats support an abundance of plants and a great variety of wildlife to enjoy along ten-plus miles of trails.
