About The Position

Supervises the day to day operations of the fall school site to ensure quality instruction and the safety of the staff and students. Communicates behavior expectations and consequences of action to staff, students and parents. Administers discipline when necessary to correct disruptive behavior. Oversees the opening and closing of fall school sites. Ensures compliance with all state, district, and fall school policies and procedures. Ensures all state and district documents are submitted on time.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of teaching or training experience.
• Active SCS Assistant Principal in good standing required.
• Total of eight (8) years of relevant education, training, and/or paid experience.

Nice To Haves

• Commitment for the entire period of fall school and attendance at the Fall School closeout.
• Availability prior to the end of the regular school assignment contract for fall school setup and preparation.
