About The Position

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for analyzing, planning and managing Division inventory levels to ensure we have inventory available to support OEM and Aftermarket production at the right place and at the right time. The Inventory Analyst develops and implements network strategies for the Division including PFEP, replenishment Strategy, safety stock strategy, supplier stocking strategy and analytical inventory tools. Does not have direct reports. This position will report directly to the Division Planning Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience inventory or supply chain analytics.
  • 4 Year Degree Required.
  • Experience with analytics tools, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, Alteryx or AI platforms.
  • Possess business and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend automation and problem-solving opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and prepares short and long-term inventory projections and other KPIs/reports on inventory health, inventory intensity, inventory trends, and excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Works very closely with Finance, Material Planning, Production Planning and Aftermarket, to ensure inventory strategy supports budgets and customer requirements.
  • Develops and administers inventory transformation strategy leading to improvements in KPIs and improving material availability.
  • Presents Inventory results and projections to multiple levels of the organization as a part of the SIOP process.
  • Develops complex analytical tools in systems such as PowerBI independently and/or with support of the Supply Chain Analytics team.
