About The Position
The Single Family Residential Construction Specialist will be the primary support for all SFR construction loans. This role involves supporting the lending staff in the early stages of underwriting, assembling the proper information prior to the closing of a construction loan, reviewing construction documentation, developing a direct relationship with the borrower or their staff, ordering and reviewing third party inspections, processing funding draw requests, and handling other construction monitoring related duties as needed. A SFR Construction Specialist must be able to communicate and explain compliance or construction related issues to the management team to ensure conformity with bank policies and procedures.
