SIMULIA is advancing its strategic position in AI-enabled simulation workflows by developing next-generation data infrastructure that transforms how engineering simulation data is collected, represented, and leveraged for artificial intelligence applications. As an AI Automation Developer with SIMULIA, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to a pioneering initiative that bridges traditional CAD/simulation environments with modern AI technologies. You will develop software infrastructure for automated discovery, analysis, and representation of simulation assets across SIMULIA's ecosystem. This role focuses on creating intelligent systems that can: Automate Asset Discovery & Tracking: Build systems to identify, catalog, and monitor simulation files across distributed storage locations without creating redundant copies Support Data Quality & Curation: Develop tools that help engineering teams identify representative datasets, detect duplicates, and optimize data selection for machine learning applications Facilitate Knowledge Graph Integration: Structure simulation data using semantic web technologies (RDF) for integration with enterprise ontology frameworks The work will involve both traditional development (file system interaction, data extraction, database design) and modern AI integration (LLM APIs, computer vision models), providing exposure to the full spectrum of software engineering in an industrial AI context.

  • Automate Asset Discovery & Tracking: Build systems to identify, catalog, and monitor simulation files across distributed storage locations without creating redundant copies
  • Support Data Quality & Curation: Develop tools that help engineering teams identify representative datasets, detect duplicates, and optimize data selection for machine learning applications
  • Facilitate Knowledge Graph Integration: Structure simulation data using semantic web technologies (RDF) for integration with enterprise ontology frameworks
  • Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proven development experience, familiarity with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures, LLMs, C++, VBA, Python
  • Exposure to CAD, simulation, or engineering software ecosystems welcome
