Role Overview The Simulator Technician is responsible to the Maintenance Manager to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support in a safe and effective manner, ensuring maximum successful training events are able to be achieved by the end user. This role is based at RAAF Base Richmond, NSW.

Requirements

A current NV1 security clearance.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
Technician/Mechanical trade skill is desired, such as electronic tech, electrician, IT professional, etc.
Sound IT knowledge and ability to learn systems quickly.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Be able to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Avionics technician certification, experience or knowledge will be a big plus!

Responsibilities

Carry out all maintenance tasks as required and directed by Senior Simulator Technician or Maintenance Manager.
Ensure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirements.
Work to CAE’s Environment, Health and Safety standards.
