He/she will work collaboratively with course facilitators to incorporate simulation into their courses, direct scenario development and programming, and will be responsible for both Simulation Center and Mobile Simulation Units. Additionally, the Technologist will be responsible for preparation, maintenance and repair of full-body patient simulators (software and hardware), task trainers and related multimedia peripherals. Supports experiential learning by providing technical support service, equipment and resources in a simulated clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Minimum of four years’ experience with medical simulation equipment including hardware and software
  • Understands the inspection, prevention, maintenance and operation of a variety of simulator technologies
  • Experience supporting faculty in an academic or professional development environment.
  • Some healthcare experience required
