Support the daily operation of the Center for Simulation Innovation, maintain Human Simulators and lab equipment, manage Simulation Lab supplies, perform Pre-Simulation activities, execute Simulation experience, perform post-simulation activities, provide technical support, maintain documentation and resources, and maintain Professional Development. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Currently enrolled in the AAS nursing program at the UA Little Rock School of Nursing
- Knowledge of basic simulation principles
- Knowledge of basic simulation equipment
- Knowledge of basic simulation technologies and audiovisual equipment
- Ability to ensure appropriate setup and breakdown of simulation skills and scenarios including manikins, task trainers, hospital equipment, and supplies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with simulation faculty, staff, and students
- Ability to anticipate needs and initiate tasks without direct supervision
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing simulation demands as needed
- Ability to maintain simulation center cleanliness
- Ability to professionally conduct simulation center tours
Nice To Haves
- Simulation, nursing, and/or medical experience is preferred by not required.
