The Simulation Support Team (SST) Technician position at Solution One Industries, Inc. is a full-time, non-exempt role that supports the Army National Guard's Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). The technician will provide essential support to the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) by assisting with various training facilities and deployed sites as required. As a local hardware, software, and functional expert, the SST Technician will be responsible for one of several simulation systems, including FIRESIM/ExCIS, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE SENGEN, or WARSIM. The technician will answer operational questions, troubleshoot issues, and manage configuration for both software and hardware systems. Additionally, the role involves providing formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators before constructive exercises, maintaining setup and troubleshooting guides, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience in the Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) field, along with five years of experience in system setup, troubleshooting, and software configuration. Candidates should have a solid understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems and experience working in high-security environments. The technician must also meet specific Department of Defense (DoD) certification requirements and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
