About The Position
This position designs and supports computer-based simulation scenarios that replicate real-world battlefield operations. The Developer ensures scenario fidelity, integration with mission command systems, and provides instruction for Army-approved simulations like VBS3 and DXTRS.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Army simulation platforms.
- Knowledge of scenario development and OPORD-based training.
- Experience with DXTRS, VBS3, and simulation scripting tools.
- Familiarity with Army doctrine, event planning, and simulation networking.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage simulation scenarios per event OPORDs.
- Develop simulation databases and conduct classroom instruction.
- Integrate simulations with MCS platforms to enhance training realism.
- Perform system backups, data recovery, and monthly maintenance checks.
- Provide over-the-shoulder support during execution of training events.
