Join North Idaho College in supporting the future of healthcare education through innovative simulation technology. As a Simulation Operations Specialist, you'll ensure the seamless operation of our Simulation Center by managing specialized systems, supporting faculty, and helping students gain hands-on, real-world learning experiences. In this role, you will serve as an administrator for simulation and virtual healthcare technology, including medication systems and simulation software. You'll be instrumental in preparing and running simulation-enhanced courses, programming and troubleshooting scenarios, and maintaining detailed documentation to guide faculty and staff. Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll collect and analyze instructional and system data and collaborate with faculty to design learning experiences aligned with industry best practices. You'll also manage scheduling, inventory, and system updates while serving as the go-to resource for training and technical support. We're looking for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-service mindset. Success in this position requires advanced skills in analyzing, installing, and troubleshooting software, hardware, and healthcare technology, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly. Strong communication, logical reasoning, and the ability to train others are essential, as is a collaborative, positive approach to working with faculty, students, and external partners. If you thrive at the intersection of technology and education and are motivated by supporting student success in healthcare, we invite you to bring your skills to our team.
